Effective date: February 12, 2026. LyricBridge is operated by Techa LLC in the United States.

1. Who We Are

Techa LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates LyricBridge. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use the site and app.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information, such as email address and authentication identifiers.
  • Project content you create, including lyrics, translations, notes, timestamps, and project settings.
  • Billing metadata (for paid plans), such as customer/subscription status. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser/device data, and service logs.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We use third parties to run core functionality:

  • Supabase for authentication and database/storage operations.
  • Stripe for subscriptions, billing checkout, and customer portal.
  • Google OAuth if you choose "Sign in with Google."
  • YouTube embeds/API for linked video playback features.
  • MusicBrainz and LRCLIB for music metadata and lyric lookup.
  • Free Dictionary API and optional Japanese tokenization services for in-app lookup features.

Those providers process data under their own privacy terms when you interact with their services.

4. How We Use Information

  • Creating and maintaining your account.
  • Saving and syncing your projects and preferences.
  • Supporting playback, timing, and translation workflows.
  • Communicating service updates and account notices.
  • Protecting against abuse, fraud, and security threats.
  • Providing plan/billing features and account support.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed with service providers that support app operations (for example infrastructure, authentication, and payments), or when required by law.

We may disclose information to enforce terms, prevent fraud/abuse, or protect rights, safety, and security.

6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Ads

LyricBridge uses essential cookies/session tokens and local storage for sign-in state and app preferences (for example default views and playback settings).

LyricBridge also loads Google AdSense on the site. Ads may appear on eligible experiences, and Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including interest-based ads where permitted by law.

7. Data Retention

We keep account and project data while your account is active. If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.

Local browser storage used for interface preferences remains on your device until you clear it or remove it through browser settings.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may request to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
  • Export your project data.
  • Close your account.

To make a request, email support@lyricbridge.com from the account email address you use in the app. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk and improve safeguards.

10. Children's Privacy

LyricBridge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. International Users

LyricBridge is operated in the United States. If you use the service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed and stored in the U.S.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice within the app or by email where appropriate.
